Title: Runnign Rich

My 97 2.5 V6 is running rich, it has black sooty deposits on the sparkplugs and smells of petrol, from the exhaust. The car has been off the road for 2.5 years and has an MOT in 30 days. Is this just because she is laid up and a good blast could fix it?

Check air filter then take it for a long drive
