Confirmed on the news just now. Colin Mcrae, Rally legend, together with his 5 year old son, another friend and one other were all killed yesterday in this helicopter crash near his home.

Very tragic news indeed and I am sure we all feel for his family.

RIP Colin McRae. :'(

:'(RIP Colin and condolences to all the families.  Such a tragic waste of life.

Also spare a thought for the 128 people who died yesterday in the MD-83 that crashed at Phuket in the Phillipines

"It's so ironic that he should die in a helicopter crash when he had competed and had brushed with death so many times as a rally driver."

R.I.P COLIN MCRAE YOU WILL BE SADLY MISSED.
May you watch over all of us from above Colin we all miss you and never forget you. God Bless sleep tight. [smiley=engel017.gif]  :'( :'( :'(

Our sympathies go out to your family that has been left behind due to this tragic disaster.

Paul

They say the good die young. I admired the man (as we all did) for his incredible driving skills but because he never courted publicity. First & foremost he was a down to earth family man who kept his feet on the ground, if not always his wheels. Given that his son was with him i ca'nt begin to imagine what his family are going through.
       It's a tragic loss.
