Hi,
On my air intake pipe(left hand side of engine if looking from front) there is a connector with nothing visible to plug into it? Something missing or feature I don't have?
Cheers,
Iain

Sounds like either ATS (Air temp sensor)... or MAF... Mass Air Flow meter....

Have you got an engine management light when running, and how many pins / holes can you see? 2?

Jeeze I have a loose plug at the bottom front left engine bay as well. All the sockets like MAF ect anr filled I have spent hours looking for where iit might go but to no end. There is no warning lights so its not a critical system whatever it is.

If it was TPS disconnected, auto transmission would be in limp mode (if it's an auto)
Check the engine management light comes on with ignition on - should be an orange one with a picture of an engine!
You say at the left as you look at the front of the car, I presume you mean closest to drivers road wheel?

If its the bottom left and at the end of a loom....its most likely to be the front multiram solenoid connector...

A nice clear picture would help ::)
