Title: Heat Sensor
Post by: donna-marie on 23 May 2007, 10:48:39
Thought i had a faulty Thermostat turned out to be a faulty heat sensor. I have a bit of an oil leak which is getting very hot when idlling causing the heat sensor to shut down. How much should it cost to fix and is it easy and could i do it myself.

A big thank you for every bodies help with my car i love it and don't want it poorly.

 :)

I only ask because there is

ECU coolant temp sensor
ECU air temp sensor
Instrument panel coolant temp sensor
A couple of rad fan temp sensors...

So quite a few....
