Title: A MASSIVE THANK YOU
Post by: andycuk71 on 25 May 2007, 16:09:56
Well 18 days after finding my oil cooler had failed, had previously thought it was a HG until advice from this forum, and I am delighted to inform you all that the car is back on the road driving better than ever with no sign of any leaks yet (touchwood!!!).

Without the encouragement, help and support that I have recieved from members of this site I would never have attempted this job. It has also given me the confidence to do much more of my own repairs and maintance in the future.

So I would like to give a massive thannk you to the following:-

MarksDTMCalib, JamesV6CDX, The Boy, AMBA06128, Markie, Danny, Mike Dundee, Laidback66, MarkJay, RonaldMcBurger, Sounds2k, AndyB, Matchless & Ians (hope to meet up soon at Padworth!!!)

If I have missed anyone out then I apologise, you guys have been brilliant.

I would like to end with a small note of caution...... I used Autovaux for my parts and whilst ther prices and quality of parts is very good I found that there customer service and communication very poor....

Thanks again you guys........its been emotional.

Andy

good to hear you've got it sorted matey, TBH a lot of what I know about working on omegas has been learnt from other forum members. I've done jobs on mine that I wouldn't have even contemplated doing a couple of years ago.  :y
