Hi,
Does anybody else have the same problem as me?
I have an Omega 2.5 v6 CD (no aircon)
My car really holds the heat in. It is constantly warm in there. The blowers do blow cold when on cold but dont seem to cool the car down inside. The car isnt overheating or anything either.
AM i missing something here or are the omega the most sealed car in the world?

Well as you dont need to worry about aircon i'll weigh in with my idea.
Well sealed car full of warm air will need a flow of air out as well as in to cool it down. Either open sunroof to tilt (if you have one), or drop one or both of the rear windows slightly.
As you move this should allow the hot air to be drawn out replaced by cooler air from vents.

Hi Jez,
Ive tried that , it doesnt work. I think the heat is coming from down by my knees or feet. God knows what it is!

A CD without aircon?
Anyway, is it cold air coming out of all vents?
-
Hi,
Yeah its definitely a CD , its got the fuel computer , electric seats , traction control etc , just not aircon. Its cold air coming out of the vents just cold and not freezing , like aircon

What year is it, never seen a CD without?

Check the vac hoses in the engine bay for damage etc....becuase the system is vac operated, loss of vac can give some interesting temps in the cabin.....!

Vac hoses? ::) , i havent a clue what they are?
Where do i look and what do i look for?

There are many small black pipes in the engine bay, hard to the touch and about 3-4mm in diameter.
If you look in the maintenance section, you will see some connecton info.....

FYI aircon is switched on/off by a button on the right of the hazard switch with a snowflake on it. Should light up when on (although the bulb has blown in mine).
So if you have the snowflake button, you should have aircon.
