Title: quick Immobiliser Question!
Post by: doughall on 05 June 2007, 15:24:21
for example, If I lock the Omega with the key, can I presume:
1) The Alarm is NOT activated.
2) The Immobiliser is NOT activated. and
3) when locked with the key, and left over night, the immobiliser doesnt automatically "kick in"?

It might be different for earlier models, but on my car the alarm is set if I lock it with a key and the transponder chip has to be present near the ignition key during every engine start. I guess earlier cars won't have the transponder though.
