The head lights on my 97 meega has what seem like plastic lenses that have gone opaque. I read somewhere about rubbing them (wet and dry??) then polishing them.
Does this work or will I make them worse.
Thanks

It works very well.....I start with 400 grit, then 800 and then 1200 (all used wet) followed by a good polish with G3 (although T-cut also works)

Hi, mine were dark yellowish colour when i got my omega 1994, I used a buffer and rubbing compound on em, they are crystal brite now.

I used Tcut on mine (no sanding) and it did make a big difference.

used t cut no rubbing, and put phillips 50% brighter bulbs in them and there great now

Started to rub with 1200 grit and t cut - looks like its gonna work well. I was going to ask about changing the lamps to something like 50% brighter. Do they make that much differance?

Yes, well worth while.
If you want to go the whole hog then run new 0V connections back to the main 0V point under the battery.

the phillips 50+ plus bulbs are a very good upgrade for the lights, got mine from ebay a complete set 2 for each side including postage came to £24
