 :)hi chaps. can eny one tell me what an how much atf fluid my box takes? its a 3.0 auto. an what kind 0f job is it on a lift? :y

If you drop both sumps, about 6l of Dexron III

Should be ideal on a lift :y

brown and smelly...

good should still be a redish colour...

Just to clarify the obvious....

Drop the sumps, refit and refill with new ATF, all with engine switched-off.

Engine should be switched-on only for the final top-up / level check after initial re-filling...

worth replacing the filters and cleaning the little magnet inside while your in there and there not to expensive from auto vaux abou £10 - £15 if my memory serves me right
