Title: V6 air intake
Post by: steve-striker on 11 June 2007, 11:56:26
Hi continueing the saga of my cambelt change, when removing the twin intake ducts from the front of the engine, mounted on the lower part by two torx is a rounded rectangular unit with 2 vac pipes, 1 large than the other.
Anybody know what it does as the larger pipe is broken.

cheers

Its a vac tank to operate the multiram sysetm, without it the engine lacks low down torque (below 4000rpm) and you have an air leak to boot....

They can be fixed with a blob of epoxy.
