Hiya Chaps
How hard Is it To change the rear shocks I have a set now I just need to put them on.
Do I need a compression tool of any kind.

Piece of cake, no special tools, no need for spring compressors. 2 bolts 1 at the top inside the car and 1 underneath. Job done ;)
-
Thanks I thought it was not to hard :y :y

it is easy, as long as the lower bolts aren't seized. Stick penetrating oil on them before...
-
Did TheOlodians with him a month or two ago, they are very easy ;)
-
As Jaime says.... if the bottom bolts release ok, then they are easy.
Spray lots of penetraing oil on them and say a silent prayer! :)

Well Stuck penetrating oil onlast night and tried this morning to remove the bolts and not a dicky Brid no movment at all >:(
I might not be strong enough need a wheely Gun Really to Shock Them off >:(
Looks like Ill have to go to a garage to get them removed not a happy bunny

Plusgas, tightfitting ring spanner/six sided socket and tommy bar, used in conjunction with a good weight of Sid Snot lump hammer.
I normally give it a couple of skelps to tighten first as it seems to make them easier to unscrew afterwards..... :y

When I did my rear adjustable they where so tight on the bottom having already removed the bolts, I had to hack saw the shock from the bush and remove the bush with a knife. This just left the inner sleeve which I drilled and inserted a bar for more leverage. Got there in the end but took a while.
