Title: 2.2 exhaust replacement
Post by: r112 on 21 June 2007, 20:41:19
I have a 2001 2.2 omega and the exhaust needs replacing.  I like the subtle look of the 3.2's twin pipe and would like to fit one of them.  Would a 3.2 exhaust fit directly or am I just better off sticking with a standard 2.2?

Cheers.

You'd need to cut and modify the rear bumper to take the extra pipe.  I'd stick with the 2.2 standard myself  :'(

Trade Club - Silencer and centre pipes RH 9157086 £74.95, LH 9157087 £75.05, & silencer and tail pipe 9157100 £64.96 for a saloon, 9157104 £56.24 for an estate.  Don't be tempted to buy pattern parts - find a TC member living nearby.

A 3.2 one won't fit.

Don't be tempted by pattern - they tend to be noisy (and crap noise) and don't last...
