Title: Crank Sensor Identification

So how do i tell which one it is :question Its off the car and i can't find a part no anywhere :(

It is the shape that tells you which one , I believe. I'm sure Mark or TB posted the part nos somewhere..... :-/

Yeah it is the plug, this one is the square one, not oval, part nos are in maintenance section, still not sure which is which though :-/

Well, if its a non-starter, just take the sensor with you when you go for one. ::)

Haven't got either in stock to compare too :(

Why on earth would they keep a part in stock that is known to fail  >:(

Square edged connector is the one on the earlier car (usuallly 1996 and before).

Conversely, it is more expensive than the later ones.

Better off buying it off ebay.

Vauxhall Parts are 36.00 pounds for early one and 44.00 pounds for later one strangely enough :-/ Stealer has just quoted 63.00 pounds for the one they think it is which is neither of the prices quoted on here. Think they just made it up ::)
