Well, kinda. It was in one of the hazard perception videos. Almost failed that part of the test! :o (scored 46 out of 75, passing is 44)
Got 50 out of 50 on the multiple choice, so not completely hopeless. ::)
Don't have the hazard perception test in the US. I think it is a really good idea, but didn't like doing it at all. The multiple choice tests are a little harder in the US, or at least they were for me at the time. I have taken several, you have to every time you move to another state since the laws change slightly.

Phew!! I got worried when I read the thread title - I thought maybe you'd been one of my road-rage victims for a minute ::) ;D
Seriously... I am joking!! :)

Was it me ;D

Not me! Virtual or Real!

I own the roads, I can run anyone off them if I want ;D

Which I think is a good idea...!

is it 50 questions on the multiple choice now??
only 35 when i did it, and i scored 35, which is nice, and got 57 out of 75 on HP
they only teach you how to pass your test, not how to drive properly, which is why a high percentage have an accident within their first year
I was told that the majority of car accidents happen within 5 miles of home, so i moved house!

I rarely go more than 5 miles from home so very likely....

Sounds like you've been here too long Theo ::)......time to move back to the U.S. :y......................Only joking and good luck with the rest of the test :y

Crikey! This talk of hazard perception and multiple choice sounds scary. My test was a case of driving the tester around Farnborough for 40 minutes and if he hasn't soiled himself by then you've passed.
Well done, Theo, and all the best for the practical. Are you taking it in the Omega?

Er, no! Plan to beg/borrow/steal small car with a manual box.

Ahh. Good thinking. A mate of mine did his test in an auto and ended up with an auto-only license ;D
