After leaving my electric pump pluged into my cigarette ligher all weekend, i came back this morning to a flat battery there was still some juice but not enoght to turn the engine over.
I didnt have any jump leads close to hand so decided to push start it, with some mates help the car didnt wasnt going to push start so we stopped being lazy and got some jump leads she worked fine but now the remote in the key has stopped working. I can lock the car by opening the rear door and locking the drivers from the inside and unlock it with the key. If i lock it with the key the alarm arms and have to turn it off by starting the engine.
Does the remote just need resting or do i need a new one.
The car is a 2000 face lift 2.5 v6 cdx with a three botton remote.
