Title: Red Arrows Banned? - WTF??
Post by: hotel21 on 24 September 2007, 00:34:15
It appears that we can be too 'British'............  Whilst not an avid reader of this particular paper, it gets the point across.

I have never heard such utter rowlocks in all my puff....

Bet the French, the US, Russians, Danes or whoever, if they were hosting, would have their finest in the air at the opening ceremony....  I really despair sometimes...   :-X

This country has gone to the dogs. The government is so obsessed in looking good in europe, it doesnt care about british people who were born here and have ancestors here.

As far as i am concerned, people who choose to visit or live here should abide by our rules. If i went to a muslim country , i would HAVE TO STICK TO THEIR RULES!! And rightly so.

All that is happening is people are leaving this country to move abroad. They are being forced by this stupid government. We only live once so why be walked over like this.

Well,  me and my family (mrs and 2 kids) are seriously thinking of selling up and moving to Spain. And when i get there i will be working to pay my own way, abide by their rules and actually give something back to society.

I know.

What this country needs is a total rebellion to their ways. If everybody , stayed in ,didnt go to work, didnt put fuel in their car and walk, didnt pay council tax, didnt pay tax, didnt buy luxuries this country would come to a grounding halt!!

Thats what this country needs to get rid of these retards who say they have this countries interests at heart. They are born liers , they have their own interests at heart.

As you can tell i hate this country now and feel a better country is the place to be for my children.

The Sun up to its lying ways as usual   >:(

It is alleged that the Department for Culture, Media and Sport ruled last week that the RAF Scampton squad is "unsuitable" and "not in keeping with the event as they were too militaristically British".

But team spokesman Rachel Huxford said: "We have had no discussions about the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics whatsoever.

"We are still planning our 2008 season at this stage and that is a long way off. We understand that no decision has yet been made about the ceremony.

Why is it that offending someone is regarded as the most heinous crime in this country and one to be avoided at all costs?

Being offended does no lasting harm. It's bound to happen every so often in a world with such a mixture of cultures and values. So why can't we celebrate our culture and values without worrying about causing offence? If that happens to include being proud of our armed forces what's the problem?
