Help

I've just gone to look and buy an R reg 2.5 Omega estate which looked all ok except 30 seconds after starting the car a pipe split.
Can anyone identify the hose in the picture and let me know what it’s for and how much to replace?
Thanks

Been said on here before about unplug SAI, if valve has gone would it still need to be replaced if SAI was unplugged ( sorry for the hijack )
