Title: It's that time!!!
Post by: a2reed on 12 August 2007, 09:45:37
Time that I started to replace the Dispak, HT leads and Crankcase seals...Matchless gave me a few great tips the other day which I have taken on board so thanks for that Matchless....but was wondering if there were any other bits and pieces I might want to know during the operation.....you know what its like once you have done a job once you think ...If only I had known that it could have saved 2 hours etc.....

ALso VX say they only have the green sealant and thats what they recomend...on here people mentioned Black sealant - is that a HAlfords jobbie and whats it called?

Don't use the green sealant, only use the black.

The green sealant is not for the cam covers. They think it is as it is on same 'page' as cam covers on EPC...
