Title: Hissing sound

Has anybody eperienced this before? Over the last 6 months my 2.0 ltr non air-con omega has been hissing from the internal air directional control knobs. Started with just one position giving the noise (sounds like air leak).

Now all positions but one give the hissing noise. I presume it will be some control valve that uses vacuum from the engine.

Is this likely to be easy to fix?

IIRC, they should hiss slightly as they move, but not constant. Pop panel off to investigate.
