Is This Brake Switch On My Omega a 2 pin or 4 pin ? I know your going to say unplug it but i have tried Phewww no joy

There is no other way than unplugging it.  If you look at the 'how to' you will see that what you have looks like a 4 pin switch but I bet it is a 2 pin switch - mine was.  For what it is worth, my 4 pin switch looks like the '2 pin' from the how to and my 2 pin looks like yours.....

Unplugging, first thing is to relase the lug on the top of the switch - you can see this on your picture - there is another one on the other side- mulitplug then comes off.

THere is another way of telling, but ONLY when you have the cruise stalk and clutch switch installed.  That is check the pin readouts on the cruise multiplug against known readings.  I have posted these so they may help you at some point

Take your time, and do carry on the cruise unit is well worth it.  I drove 300 miles at the weekend and probably less than 5 without the cruise on: managed 37 mpg out of mine at a steady 70 because of it
