I dont now if this will be of any help to any one with an elite , but with mine i have set the 2nd preset button on the drives memory seat to Dip both mirrors down, so when i am reverse parking i just press the 2nd preset button on the drivers seat and the mirrors dip. Helps to save any more marks on the alloys. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Just something i do dont know it is of any help ....hope so.

i believe all the facelift elites have a couple of seat memory preset buttons, i have been doing the same as you for sometime now.
Unless it is a feature of the later elites i don't believe it is designed purely for that purpose, i have always wondered if it would be possible to wire the car in such a way that it would trigger the 3rd preset when the car was placed in reverse.....
Can anyone tell me if that is possible?

the rear view mirrors in general aren't recommended to be pointed downwards to see the wheel and curb when reversing, cos it takes part of the view away from the rear of the car!

many cars, esp 4x4 and mpvs automatically dip the passenger wing mirror in reverse
