We all know what Vauxhall dealers are like…
Below are two real invoices from a Vauxhall Dealer. They are 4 years apart, and relate to two different vehicles – both are Omega V6.
Can you spot what is not right with them? Each one has one detail that is blatantly wrong.
Just to remind you that these are real invoices (not fake) which haven’t been modified in any way either than hiding name and address details.
No prises I’m afraid… :)

Timing chain recall.....that was 1.0 1/2 V6 power plants only......and adjusting front wheel bearings......how exactly!
-
Bloody hell, he's beaten me to it!
-
one of them is added up wrongly
other is timing chain
-
Not sure about the adding up, it does say page 2 on it.....so I guessed there was more on page 1
-
Oh bum I missed page number
I wonder if my word will get replaced

>:( Should have banned you from the competition Marks DTM....
;D
Right on both counts of course....
;D
Vauxhall dealers...
No timing chain on the V6 anyway (it's not a 2.5TD, you know...)
It would have been funny if it wasn't for the fact that I actually paid £30+VAT for the front bearings adjustment >:(
But it was in 2001 so too late to complain now.

I just have this vision of a grease monkey with a sledge hammer smacking the hell out of it!

No matter - I sold it five years ago :)
If you ever see a silver R-reg Omega with wobbly front wheels - that'l be it :)

Err, it doesn't look like the own in my avatar, does it? ;D
-
Difficult to say, but I can spot MV6 seats on yours so no, that wouldn't be it....
-
Phew...
-
Phew...
You’re not safe yet... your car would probably have some dealer history, and you can't tell what horrors lurk behind each Vauxhall stamp in that service book.... spooky.
-
Yeah, I must go through it again, just to see if dealers around Basingstoke (where my car spent its early years) are full of BS as well....
-
So basically, what we're saying here is: look for FULL service history, but preferably not from vauxhall. ;D

Thank for dragging this thread back from retirement :)
No, it was silver saloon aright but it was Reflection (special edition) not CDX, and auto not manual....

Nearly 100 quids worth of vat on the first one! That's what's bloody wrong with it! Stinking government >:(
