anybody know what size the thread is on the oil filter for the omega ???

Not sure of the thread size, but i would advise always fit the correct oil filter p/n- 93156954 ;)

nah the gorilla at the garage nacked the thread on mine and said it was like it when he did it and ive lost my thread gauges so i cant try and repair it :(

I don't have the information for the Vauxhall filter, but looking at aftermarket filters websites they all seem to suggest that the filter thread for the Omega-B 2.5  is M18 X 1.5.

The filter mount is a removable item which can be replaced......so if the thread has been mullered, fit a new mount.

sorted it thanks wayne mate first and last time i take a car in for oil change it is an M18-P1.5 aparently only way i found out was a friend that works on SAAB 900/9000 V6 engines anyway luckily i have a good set of tap and dies
