Post by: bertiecbx550 on 28 August 2007, 22:23:12
i have a set of 15" astra alloy wheels on my miggy and they run 195/60 tyres and i was wondering if its possible to fit 225/55 15" tyre to the rims? any ideas lads?

To keep rolling diameter correct, if you want 225/55 it will need to be a 16" rim.

15" should be 195/65

Yep, the correct ones (on our astras) are 195/65/15. But in my opinion, too small! I'd be getting an original set of factory 16's (or even 17's if you're feeling flush!) on with good tyres. Shouldn't cost more than say £100 - £150, will make the world of difference to the way it handles and rides. Remember the omega is a big heavy car  :y
