As above but the doors from a facelift saloon to a prefacelift saloon? Are they the same or different? From a "W" reg to a "M" reg? Fit or No Fit? that is the question. I think they wont fit What about you lot.

apparently the doors would but you'd need to change the door cards to fit round the preface dash, and the window switches and maybe some other stuff!

Thats good to know makes life alot easier than messing about with taking door moulding's off and such things. Now the only thing that would need changing about would be the window switches, the door card's. would any extra wiring be needed or not really?

not too sure
i'm personally thinking the door moulding swap would be easier

Yes it would be much easier but the doors need replacing due to the usual rusting on the top door rail under the window strip. As you can see from the pictures just thought it would be easier to replace the door's with facelift door's than trying to repair them my self.

Are the newies the same colour? Yep the rubbing strips are different (alot of people change all the rubbing strips for ney style anyway). I'd personally be trying to find some older ones in good knick, might be a little be cheaper but the paint colour match will be better. Yours being white, is really hard to get right!

The problem being with trying to source the older shape doors will be the same as what I have, scabbie and in need of repairing. The door's (facelift) I can get for nothing so I was thinking just change all the door's and then respray them at least that way the door's will be non scabbie, no need to carefully take the mouldings off.
