Hello,
Just wondering, I have the dreaded go over a bump and get a knock sound from the front of the car and have traced it down to the drop link bushes. I have the new bushes but I was wondering if I needed to change the wishbones too which have about another year left in them I think.
Ideas?
Cheers

I don't THINK that you need to get geometry done after changing drop links. Given that I would leave the wishbones. But perhaps someone who knows for sure can confirm. (Given the cost of a proper geometry set up I would be much more inclined to do everything at once IF I was disturbing it, but as said ,I don't think you are, but needs confirming)

I wouldn't have thought so. The roll bars don't (or shouldn't) affect the static geometry as there won't be any torsion on the bar when both wheels are at the same height. It's only when the wheels try to sit at different heights (such as in a corner) that the roll bar resists the movement, applying the force through the drop links.

You can safely change the drop links without needing to get the geometery reset, just remember to give them a good soak in penetrating fluid before you start.
