Need more details on the LPG system, if it's backfiring I suspect it's a single (or dual) point system rather than sequential injection. Not really the ideal system for this engine, it may need a tune-up to deal with the changed flow characteristics caused by fitting the exhaust. How is it running on petrol? If it's not right on petrol then you're best getting that sorted first otherwise you'll be trying to work around problems that are outwith the scope of the LPG system.

All i can tell you is that the lpg was done from new by a subcontractor for vauxhall i cant rember the name of the company that did it but if someone said it i think i would and its not too bad on the petrol but just dosent seem quite right still a little lumpy

If it's not running 100% on petrol then get that sorted first, as many LPG systems piggyback on the petrol ECU and sensors, so any problems there will be exacerbated when running on LPG even if there's nothing wrong with the LPG system itself. It may still need a tune-up depending on the system and how adaptive it is.
