No direct experience of Omega rears but have removed various drop glasses over the years. Most work on the principle that the glass has to exit the door upwards rather than downwards into the car (I've found) so need seperating from the lift mechanism. Some are bolted, some are rivets, some come out with the glass. Sometimes you need to tilt the glass somewhat to clear some gubbins inside.
Not much help I know, but the best I can give. :y

Just to add to Broocies above, I expect that the 'quarter' light would have to be come out first to allow the main window to come out - it did on m MKII Granada estate recently.

Yup, good call. Forgot that bit.... :y

exellent guys, thanx . just had another looksy and i think the rear quarter glass should come out first which will give enough room to get the main drop glass out . thanx again, il let u all know how it goes when i get done

Theres normally a screw on the top of the door frame to secure the quarter glass/window runner with a bolt or two within the door frame rather than simply prising the quarter glass out. If you remove the screw/bolts, drop the window as low as poss then tilt/remove the runner, the quarter should come out allowing runner removal allowing dropglass removal. Ensure the glass does not slip when you shift the runner though. :y

Rears can be a real pain, have removed several fronts - they are simply bolted in and attached to regulators.
As mentioned detach via bolts / rivots being removed so the window is free within the door skin.
The quarter panel will in my experience have to be removed otherwise the angles will be a nightmare to lever the window out.
