Title: Engine Code ??

How do everyone,

I about to buy a camshaft sensor for my Omega of ebay and I need to know the engine code.
I have looked on the log book but can't see it anywhere, I presume it is located on the engine somewhere?

Where does one fine the engine code??

Hi Andy :)
I think it should be stamped on the left hand side of engine on the crankcase. ;)

Also, if you've got the 'Car Pass' it would be listed on that eg X30XE. ;)

It's a Z22XE engine.
