OK, how can I tell for definite that my motor is a facelift or not ?
The problem is my car seems to be some sort of bastardised version between a face lift and not a facelift. It's on a 99 T.

This should help http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1162323406 :y
Post a pic or two.

' T ' plate will be Mini Facelift
-
As Timbuk says, T will be mini facelift.
Facelifts have electric windows switches on the drivers door, rather than around the centre console...
-
another way is the boot, the manual release on the facelift boots, electric release only
-
the pics at the top of every page are 2 facelifts, modernised front and rear ends

Thanks for your replies.. appreciated!!
Mine actually looks VERY similar to the titanium model in the sites logo above except with black exterior door trims and bumpers and not the colour coded jobs. I would REALLY like to door trim things to be colour coded... do Vaux or 3rd party sell these so I can fit them?
-
Vauxhall do sell them. They usually come in a base grey primer. Only thing i would advise is it will make the bumpers look odd unless you get hold of colour coded ones
-
Was thinking about getting a new body kit fitted and sprayed... so, idea #1 - spray up the current bumpers & door trims to match body kit/car OR ... Idea #2 buy the full facelift colour coded jobs from Vaux including front/rear bumpers etc. Looking at option 1 after seeing a cracker of a kit on flee-bay...

back on topic...
The differences between prefaclift and min facelift are subtle. Steering wheel controls for audio made appearance, MV6 and Elites get HID headlights, others get projector headlights. Engine enhancements.
Got the HIDS on my Elite so is a mini F/L !! Thanks :y :y

I recon that my 99 T is a throwback then because the window switch's are in the centre, and forget the auto boot realease thingy, mine is the good old fashion walk round the back of the car and give it a yank.

Word of advise, rpiming & painting textured mouldings/bumpers will be a pain unless done properly.
Needs keying up well, flez priming & so on or else bumbers will peel most noteable as they get stine chipped. Smooth finish bumpers from new through Vauxhall will cost a fortune, I did make enquiries when one of mine got damaged a year or so ago.
Managed to get a brand new one offf ebay so may be a better option if you are patient
