Many thanks to those who responded to my earlier thread.

Crankcase breather problems seem to be top of everyones list as the cause of blown camcover gaskets and/or seals, but why were the cam covers modified at some stage?

I'm confused by the title of your thread.. are you talking about the camshaft seals or the camcover (aka rocker cover) seals?

I'm not aware the Omega camcovers were changed , although Vectra V6 has alloy covers.
