Title: Problem after rocker gaskets?
Post by: omegalord on 18 September 2007, 22:38:32
Done the rocker gaskets , all running mint now apart from the hbv problem i now have

My question is....

When i start the car up first thing , it doesnt tick over at 1100rpm until warm anymore and if i rev it to about 4-5k rpm and lift off the accelerator , as the revs are coming down it pops and farts sometimes.

Any ideas?

You won't like this....
Strip down the plennum so you can access the back of the inlet and disconnect and reconnect all the plugs again - it's poss you have disturbed something when putting plennum back on.  :y

I dont mind taking the plenum off , not a hard job.

I might actually take the plenum off and do the hbv valve while im there.
