Further to my previous post about my omega and it's missing keys. I had iven up hope of ever finding them so was intending to have a new key made (£120) but I needed a carpass from vauxhall and for that I needed the logbook whihc was locked in the car.
I ended up having to smash one of the small windows in the back and i was able to reach in and wind the back window down (this is the only time i've ever been thankful that my back windows aren't electric).
Would you believe it my keys turned up the following morning >:( So although I don't need to but a new key i now have a bin liner as a temporary window.
How easy are these small windows to replace and do i need any special tools / sealant in order to do it.
I have since bought one of these so hopefully it won't happen again :)

This was discussed recently with respect of the main door window. I can't say from experience but after you've removed the door trim I'm sure you see a/some srew(s)/bolt(s) that holds the lower part of the rear window runner in place and somewhere at the top on the frame will be a screw under the rubber trim. I'm sure that the small window will then come out/go in. If you go to the scrap yard you'll be able to have a practice, and if that attempt goes t1t5 up, you can then find another car! ::) ::) :y

Hell! Where did the keys turn up!?!?!?! ;D
So you'll be very pleased you can get back into work now :D
Ermm, the window, not sure really, as mentioned there was a thread on this not long back, I think it's made easier by taking the main window out.
All the best

I would have personally smashed the larger rear window, peice of piddle to replace compared to the smaller onces, which are stuck in.
Glad you found the keys though :y
