Title: 3.0 mv6 needs new exhaust , aftermarket ?

hey guys , im a current member on vaux owners network and just found this site on there. ive got an omega 2000 facelift mv6 and the exhaust cat back has gave up the ghost , now rather than a standard vaux exhaust is there any other company that sells a nice aftermarket one ? eg: stainless ?

id love to say aftermarket....if you can find one....Irmscher obviously but your looking at near £500.

If you go standard,make sure its genuine vx and not some cannon fodder bosal / kwik fit combo.

If I may give an example….

My V plate saloon had an after market exhaust fitted at huge expense (more than a genuine one from Vx on trade club) some 20 months ago by Formula 1 auto centres.

On all 3 sections the baffles are now rattling like buggery……...

My facelift had a new exhaust some 30 months ago and its still as good as new…...

So, genuine or get a custom stainless one made.

I do Jetex and Blue Flame ones.

both are good and shouldnt give any issues.

Thanks  guys  , have emailed mtek and longlife now , if no luck i'll go genuine. damn these omegas are hard to find goodies for.
