Title: Hose problem?

      Hi all,
             I was looking at the rad. to header tank hose today and at about the middle of the hose there's like a 2 1/2" balloon section(LOOKS LIKE A INNER TUBE) which looks like it should be there.
 
Can anyone tell me if this is how it should be?

Some of the hose fitted around here have either

1) A nylen weave

or

2)  Arubber inner tube type sleave

This is to add some extra wear protection.....watch for water appearing between the hose and tube section as I havecseen this when they leak....
