Post by: omega3000elite on 19 September 2007, 11:41:22
Hi ,
Does anyone know how to remove the steering wheel switches on a 2001 elite ?

Is it easy or a nightmare cos of the airbag ?
Any help would be great !

After disconnecting battery, go have a cuppa to let system discharge itself, 5 mins is enough to let the airbag system discharge fully.

And, remember, do not switch on ignition until EVERYTHING is plugged back in, else you'll get an airbag light on dash, which needs Tech1/2 to reset. Isn't that right Mr Omegatoy :P  ;D

Sitting in the rear seat is a favourite!
