Title: No Hot air from Heaters
Post by: Markie on 27 September 2007, 22:16:36
On the prefacelift estate - not MV6.

Put the heating on first time ever this (frosty) morning and no hot air, even when engine heat up etc.

Heater blows air on all settings apart from out vents ( ie to window, to feet etc) but it never heats up...

It has no air con and is basic 2,5 CD 1998 style, also noted dial for increase in blower is very very stiff....

Any thoughts as to where my first port of call in this weekends investigations should be on this?

Thanks for this, i suspect issues still with multirams / vacuum and associated "plumbing" - sorted its starting and misfire problem but still feel its missing a bit of power...

HBV - i hadnt thought about as thres no coolant issues or leaks but will have a look on Saturday  before reporting back  ;)

As said, check pipes. If hot, then it has to be air distribution fault (controls knackered?). If pipes are cold, HBV...
