Title: Xenon Headlight problem

My passenger headlight has stopped working. ::)

I have replaced the bulb but when I turn them on it just flickers for a second an still doesn't work!! :'(

Any ideas, I thought of changing the ballast unit but thats 250 from vx, dont want to sepnd that if I dont need to!

Swap the balalst units and/or bulbs over from left to right

Like mark says - swap them over to eliminate the problem first.  :y

Have not managed to swap the units over yet, but how much would you expect tp pay for another one??  The qoute I got was from Seaward Vauxhall in Poole. :-/

The ballasts rarely fail so a second hand one is a good option.

keep a check on Ebay, I got one from there for about £25, and yes they are dear from Vauxhalls..

It can only be the ballast or bulb if it flickers to start with........and as you've changed the bulb......

Cheers for all your help guys, I bought a second hand ballast unit off ebay for £28 that did the trick!  :y

New bulbs are fantastic aswell.
