Yep dead easy :y

i'll have a go when the letter arrives, then.
Cheers Bo Bo. :)

not necessarily, depends on the age - after 2001 the tax is based on emissions - have a look on http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk - then vehicle enquiry - mine (2002) is £112.75 for 6 months and £205 for a year ...
-
I have a feeling my tax was 190 for 12 months in January.
Omegas were all produced before the "Gas Guzzler" band came in, so they should fall in the band below that, which actually has some pretty mundane cars at its' bottom end.

Ahh, actually....
Registered before 01/03/2001 : £180
After this it's band "F" : £205
After 23/03/06 : You really don't want a 3.0 / 3.2 :o

Unfortunately not, I had to drop my trollies in the Post Office luckily it was a female assistant ::)

At least you've got a Post Office. They closed ours while we were on holiday and they now have a cupboard in the corner of WH Smith. Mate went to get his tax last week and they had lost the keys to the Post Office bit ::) Eventually they found them and said they ought to get a 2nd one cut and leave it under the door mat :o
I've done it online for the last few years. It was a total PITA when some of my MOT and insurance records weren't electronic but now they are, it's fine. (after one total farce of a computerised MOT for the Westfield where the whole garage ground to a halt for 3 days at the mercy of a crappy PC with an analogue dial-up modem link - remember those?)
