Post by: JiMbOb789 on 13 October 2007, 19:49:01
Hey everybody,
does anyone know where i could get my hands on some Aliminium trim for the facelift model of the Omega apart from ebay.
Would i have to go to my local Vauxhall Dealer?
Can anyone help?
Thanks,

Very hard to come by I have been keeping an eye out for ages, you can get it from Vx, if you go for the whole lot from Vx including door cards over £500. Or cheap alternative is the overlay trim £188.00 same as what I have at the mo. :y

Hi Guys - just done my facelift Elite with brushed Ali trim as the wood was dark with the black leather.  Got it from magiccardesign.de in Germany.  Cost me circa £40 (priced in Euro's so guessin) .

Looks good - does the centre console , doors , door handle surrounds , rear ashtrays , audio console and heater controls + other bits.

Good value and nice finish.

Always the way !!   Worth the money - done it to my previous car and thought it would suit the Meggy well - and was right !

Seems like the brushed ally trim is very popular, so we have no change of the real thing from the breakers.

How does the sticker kit look?  I remember sticking window tint to my first car once and it looked very very sh*t!

Thanks everyone, as soon as i get some money, i will get it.
What about leather interior, i was thinking a breakers yard. Not much on ebay, anyone have any ideas, what about a vauxhall dealer.
Thanks,
Jamie

I will try to get some pics up on here later this week of the car and the interior.  The Ali kit looks good - especially as it covers more than just the wood area's.  Brightens and modernises the interior and has a nice feel as it is Ali with like a gelcoat 3-D over the top.  From my last car I know this makes it very hard wearing as it was in that for 2-3 years and 50,000 miles! and still looked as good when I sold it as the day I installed the kit.

P.S.  Anyone into bikes ??  See the 07 showbike pics on my website for pics of my GSXR - www.bikes-unlimited.co.uk
