Hi has anyone had any problems with speed sensors on a 2.5 cdx 2000 model my abs and traction control come on today and speed ometer dropped to xero any help would be great

Oh dear....
The post 98 ABS ECUs do seem to suffer from premature failure.
Worth cleaning and check gap on ABS sensors, but I fear the worse :'(

thanks will give a clean the weekend any idea what the gap is if that fails i will get 2 new ones they are on the back axle i believe

The sensors reliable, not worth changing. I will be the ECU I fear.

Had this very recently .. ABS ECU faulty .. new one from VX is VERY expensive. Mine was removed and sent to

They tested, mended, returned within a week, with a 2 year warranty for £150 including courier back. I was well pleased with the service, I would suggest you give them a ring.

Possibly worth putting on a Tech2 first if you are nearby
