I put that number in the search mode, under part number .. and got "no parts"   but I'm not exactly sure I'm doing it right .. although what I'm doing makes sense, and when I search on the part  no 90509164 it finds it ok ....  :(

Sorry this is not much help :(

edit .. just looking .. part no 09xxxxx ? seems an odd number    I tried 90xxxxx   no good either

try getting a new fuel filter and filling it with diesel magic, start engine and move throttle up and down to rev engine gently throught the rev range, for a couple of mins , switch off go and have a cup of tea then,(this gives the brew time to really soak in and loosen gum) restart and go for a drive, in 99 percent of cases this will cure the problem in a few it needs to be done twice!!
fault is usually caused  by cheap supermarket fuel gumming up the tracks in the fuel pump pot, worth a try before you go changing things!!!

cheers for that but what is diesel magic bud ??

Diesel magic is an injector cleaner. Supposed to go in tank, but I put it neat in filter (runs bad for a few secs).

The fact that yours is fine on cruise, but bad on pedal makes me think its the sensor.

Not the best diesel I'm ever owned, but fairly smooth, reasonably powerful when chipped, but too heavy, too unreliable, and utterly stupidly unbelievable service interval.

But I have some affection for my tractor, despite it giving me 6 months of hell...
