Title: Intermitent Squeak?
Post by: Darth Loo-knee on 20 October 2007, 22:08:47
Starting up from cold I get an intermitant squeak. I thought it was the aux belt tensioner so changed it a few weeks back. But started up this morning and it was there again... not a noise that is squeaking all of the time, but asthough at a certain place if that makes sence... So I got the WD40 and squirted the aux belt tensioner and the starter motor made no difference.. When I squirted the Crank Pulley the noise stoppped, so is there a bearing behind this that may need replacing??? :y

Not the "too-tight" gates version? They all do this...
