Title: Puncture :(
Post by: Jimbob on 01 October 2007, 09:18:54
Neighbour popped round yesterday, rear mv6 tyre flat as a pancake :(

Swapped it over with the spare (I do not trust this little trolly jack! Nearly went for freebie jack instead!)

2 Bloody great nails.

whacked the compressor on it, back to 30psi, PSSSSSSSSSST
really not holding much air :(

Will whizz it up to the local tyre place lately, wonder what my chances of a fix are.
online prices are £120 - £130 for 1 Conti Sport 2, Ouch!  Not even a year old yet either :(

I'm sure there are cheaper about

even had a nation chain put a free puncture repair voucher in the free local paper last week.

Would prefer to use a small very good independant though

I dread the day when there is only kwik fit type places left!

I trust these guys, if they can fix they will, no trying to sell you a new tyre like you see so often at some places.
