Title: parking sensor Painting

Hi every one

I bought a new sensor kit including the sensors them selves and the moluding

i am asking now , is it possible to paint the sensor with same coulor as the body (i will do it in a workshop)

cause it come with a black colour

if it is possiple, is it normally painted or there is a technique to do such a job

When i worked at a main ford dealers, they used to fit them, then just mask and spray them, so should be ok.  :y

mask off the bumper surrounding the sensor and spray the sensor, or use a touch up pen thingy to colour it...

ahaaa

now i am understand what do u mean  

i should cover the bumber and make holes in the cover  to spray the sensor is self


am  i right now ?

You can paint them before you put them in, i thought you had already installed them, if not yeah do it whilst they are in, the choice is yours,

watch out for paint blobs TB said one of his sensors stopped working when he sprayed it as a blob of paint got on it
