What would cause rear tyre scrub? It's only the n/s rear inside edge that's seems to be wearing down faster than the rest of the tyre. All other tyres are wearing evenly. There's no leaks from the shockers, they appear ok and the springs look ok.

It will be an alignment issue. Probable that the car has hit a kerb sometime and bent the rear adjuster. Would require getting a full geometry check done to get it all back into the correct shape. See this chap (http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/) for a better explanation.

...or better still, if you are anywhere near Hemel, just go ahead and book the car for full geometry - you won't regret it... :y

Seconded. Had Tony set up my car a fourtnight ago and it drives very nicely now.
Way better service than the run of the mill tyre depots who will only check that the alignment is within the limits on the machine. Mine was chewing through the tyre shoulders despite being inside the limits at my local tyre depot.
I wouldn't let anyone else meddle with my suspension setup now, that's for sure!

Bit too far for me to go, anyone know a similar place Derbys/Notts/Leics areas would be better for me.
My local tyre place did do a good job but I think their equipement looks a bit dated, and I've gone off them since they didn't do a good job of balancing the front wheels last time there.

I'd pm Tony and see if he'd be happy to recommend a place in your area. Maybe he could give them some settings to use as a starting point. The main thing is that the car is set to some sensible settings, not just checked to see if the measurements are within limits because the limits for the Omega are a joke - far too wide.

There are a couple of places in Nottingham but, we have had mixed results from them.
I would guess that one of the rear trailing arms is out of adjustment, they have a tie bar which can be adjusted, it mainly affects toe though (little affect on camber which is the most likely cause of such wear).
I would also check the rear springs for breakages.
