Hello my friends! I have a v6 with 59,000 miles on her. I have already had the head gaskets fixed and new suspension. Today however i was driving to the gas station and when i got out of my car i noticed and burning smell.... :(.. so naturally i looked under my car and i saw that it was leaking a fluid from the middle/passenger side. Can someone please direct me to a thread that was already posted on this site that may have had the same problems. Or can someone please help me. This car in litterally breaking me but i dont want to give her up!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the site. First of all, please could you update your profile informaion, to include location and year / model of car.
As an insight into the coolant leak, here are the common possibilities (probably in this order, in my experience, but someone of the knowing variety may correct me ;) ).
1) Heater bypass valve, located at the rear of the engine. This commonly spills coolant onto the DIS pack, killing it. To help diagnose, can you tell if you only see the leak with the heater settings on either hot or cold?
2) Split/damage to pipework in the rear of engine bay. Also risky as it's in the DIS area.
3) Coolant bridge unions at the rear of the Valley, between the two cylinder heads.
4) Thermostat to front transfer pipe O ring leaking
5) Thermostat to block seal leaking
6) Oil cooler to block plate leaking
7) Rear coolant transfer pipe to block, O ring leaking.
To be honest, if you've just had the head gaskets done, I would expect the majority of this to have been exposed and checked.

well yes, it looked like it was comming from the center/passenger side of the car. My coolant overflow tank is completly empty. So is it the water pump,hbv valve, or oil cooler? please help anyone

Is it running off the bellhousing (gearbox/engine joint).. or from the cambelt cover?

If car was a UK spec one, not US, then probable that its the Heater Bypass Valve thats faulty. Not sure if this is specified on the US machines or not. If so, then leak may manifest when climate control inside car is on or off, but rarely both, apparently.....
Straightforward to change, 3 hoses/clips and a vacuum pipe to change over. Inlet plenum to remove if you really need the space but possible without removing....
If not fitted on US machines, then unsure....

I agree this is the first port of call, but there are also other causes.
Either way, first job is to pop the scuttle off, and have a good root around, with a small torch, and also have a feel for coolant.
