2000 cadilac catera engine will start every time idles up to 2000 then falls to below 500 and dies need posible causes
-
The first thing to do is read your fault codes.

The 2.0 breather/throttle body/ICV clean up would be my first port of call.
-
3.0V6 engine only in the caterra...
I would give the idle valve a dam good clean out as a starter for ten.
Does it run ok with a little light throttle?
Other possibles are an air leak.
-
