:-/ Hi everyone ..
this is my 1st post so please be patient ......... I own a omega 2.5 diesel (bmw) engine as you will all know ,, its a x reg, :y
this car is a great starter , good looking comfy and runs great except for 1 small problem.... if you sit inthe car and rev it every now and again the engine management light comes on just as the rev counter needle reaches 1500 revs and the engine will miss a beat but it does not do this all the time it seems to be a build up.. :exclamation.. When i am driving the car which is a manuale it will drive great for half a mile or so the the light comes on the dash and the car looses power and goes to stall unless the clutch is dipped then it comes back after a few seconds and will run for another half mile or so ;) I have so far changed the feul pump in the tank and changed the ecu on advice from a speicialest on vauxhall >:(
i have done the paper clip test and i get a 92 code everytime ............ can anyone out there please offer any help or advice as i would like to keep this car :o

92 - is that egr or cruise, cant remember. if cruise, ignore it.
May need a proper tech2 session :(
hopefully someone will be along with better ideas soon....

Fill out your profile - someone near you may have decent diag facilities (and know how to use it!), and also there are significant differences between U25DT and X25DT
