hello every one, can anyone tell me how to remove the glove compartment from a 2000 omega.

if this is the facelifted car then you have to do the following:
with the passenger door open pull off the cover that sits over the end of the dash/passenger heater vent, it will reveal the side of the heater vent
undo the heater vent assembly i think it is 2x philips headed screws
take out the light socket from the bottom of the vent
remove the vent from the housing (at the bottom of the vent pull the housing, this will allow the vent unit to pop put)
open the glove box
undo the airbag cover 3 x torx bolts
lift up the airbag cover and you will see another two philips headed screws, take them out
there are two more screws that hold the glove box in they are halfway down either side of the front of the glovebox they are not easy to see as the are A) tucked away and B) black against black trim
pull out glove box, beware there will be an electrical connection for the light
this is all done from memory so please forgive me if i have missed anything, ti should come out nice am easily, if it doesn't look for more screws
hope that helps.

Glove compartment is held in by screws at top, bottom and side.
To access screws at side (LHS) you need to dismantle air vents. Start by unclipping vent cover at far left of dash. There are 3 screw in here that need to be removed (iirc) to get the vent and glove box out. Another two screws can be seen frm inside the glovebox (left and right sides). Finally there are 3 screws in the top of the glove box which also secure the air bag.
